Oaks Springs Dental is a well established dental practice in business since 2009. Dr. Talavera and his wife Aimee have been in practice for over 17 years and enjoy a great following. Many patients who have relocated to South Dade and even Broward County are still loyal customers, primarily due to the personalized attention they have become used to, and not found anywhere else.
Because dentists are licensed professionals, they require a significant amount of formal and specialized education. As experienced dentists, we offer treatment and prevention of disease in the oral cavity and surrounding areas. Furthermore, Dr. Jose Talavera has taken many additional hours in the area of dental implants, making him one of the most experienced dental implant specialists in North Miami.

Dental Insurance has been a topic of debate in recent years and there always seems to be questioned as to what is covered and what is not! Whenever in question, please feel free to call us. In general, we accept all PPO insurances including companies like Anthem PPO, Beechstreet, CIGNA, Interplan Health Group, MultiPlan Network, PPO USA, Preferred Health Professionals, SummaCare and many more
As previously stated, dental insurance has been an item of debate in recent times, as many people with basic health insurance have reliance they have no dental coverage. For those without or in need of procedures not covered by insurance, we offer special discounts that can be charged to any major credit card.
Yes. We offer nitrous oxide sedation (also known as laughing gas), especially for patients with dental anxiety or during complex procedures. It’s a light, safe form of sedation that keeps you relaxed while remaining awake.
